What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?

The strong values of the firm attracted me to work for Irwin Mitchell. The expertise available from colleagues in all legal disciplines means that together we will be able to assist all our clients with whatever life throws at them.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?

You get to meet a wide range of fascinating clients and contacts; each with their own individual story to tell. It is great to get to know clients and to assist them put plans in place that gives them peace of mind that their affairs are in order.

What inspired you to get into law?

Lawyers solve people’s problems for them. Law affects every part of our lives and it is really not difficult to find examples of that: buying goods and services, being employed, renting property, running businesses. It may be a cliché but I got into law to help people and to solve problems.

What do you do away from the office?

Sports are my greatest passion. When I have some free time, I like to watch live sport ranging from professional events to standing on the side lines of my children’s events. My family and dog are a great support; they demand attention and I enjoy spending as much time with them as possible.

Publications

I contributed five chapters to the Law Society publication ‘The Probate Practitioners Handbook’; on topics of client care, complaint handling and costs as well as on dealing with digital assets on death. I have written a number of articles for both legal and non-legal publications on various legal topics.
